Promotional Imagery for Sportpax, Iconic Sport Backpacks
6th September 2016
This week I conducted two incredibly fun shoots, both in the studio and on location at a family run farm in Linton, in order to promote a new product in the Sportpax range.
Sportpax are the creation of Tony Brown. One day Tony looked at his children’s plain backpacks and it occurred to him that they could be so much more than ordinary. Being part of an active family, and with friends also raising young, sports-mad children, soon his idea came to create backpacks with iconic, fun designs in the shape of sports balls.
With a range of coloured rugby balls and a football design already selling, Tony asked me to photograph a new release - yellow and pink tennis balls. In order to showcase both the sturdy, spacious design and how the backpacks can be used, we needed to capture the backpacks in two different environments. For the first shoot, the elements of the bags were the main focus, so they were photographed against a white background at a studio in Soutborough (PhotoShoot Studio Hire). For the second, we wanted to show the backpacks in action, so I gathered two of my sporty friends and we hit the tennis court.
